Somebody didn't give the official gouge command to stations in the Houston area.
We're down on average $0.002 a gallon from yesterday.

of course it's a tradition - whether there's any other reason than greed or not.

Here in Springfield, IL, gas spiked 25 cents yesterday morning, just in time for the holiday weekend. It's tradition regardless of what the price of crude is doing, down in this case.

The price of medicine either goes up or down, there is very little consistent in pricing other than branded meds go up and generics go down.
Geodon and its competitors only go up, Jeffrey Kindler has to make the big bucks before it goes generic.
Generic Zoloft, on the other hand, seems to have a lower price every 90 days when I reorder it. They seem to also hand out a different brand when the bottle comes from Medco (one of the major PBMs). Even the generic Ambien I end out having to buy at W@l-M@rt goes down nearly every refill.

It boggles my mind why oil prices can't remain at one price until a "significant event" happens. Sort of like the price of other consumable goods (food, medicine, toilet paper or even your rent check...). OH that's right, it would put a lot of people out of work (speculators, investors, journalists, ....).

Up and down here in Music City USA, falling some areas(or at least not rising) and up 15 cents or more in others, particularly right off the interstates.

So far here in Huntington Beach CA prices have remained the same and continued falling at some stations. I expected them to go up today for people hitting the roads this weekend to travel but thankfully I was wrong.

Commodity gas prices are down but greedy Speedway leads the pack in raising prices around here. That is one of the reasons I do not do business with them.
